Face Paint behind facial features, with red eyes+white pupils and a grey goatee I worked in layers starting with his eyes being an anchor and only on one side, mirroring later to not repeat it I started with his irisis and making the face shape a light grey, followed by his head or "helmet" which I used a desaturated navy color and darker custom grey. His sideburn "vents" are the same colors, just slighty darker on the inside part. Details like brows, face lines, and antenna were added last.
